Things parents ask us about our Dance and Performing Arts school

We offer an Online Booking System. To book any of our Showshack Classes please CLICK HERE. 

If you want to enquire/book a Private Acting or Singing lesson please email  

When booking one of our Classes Online you are taken to a Registration Form and this automatically registers you with Showshack. If you wish to enquire/register for a class you can’t book using our Online Booking System please email the Showshack Office at or visit the Contact Us Page.

At Friday & Saturday Showshack & Showshack Minis we have a uniform and we ask all students to wear a Showshack T Shirt. 

Showshack tracksuit bottoms and hoodies are also available to purchase but any plain black tracksuit bottoms, leggings or jazz pants are acceptable. 

Dark coloured trainers, black jazz shoes, plimsolls or jazz trainers, all with non-marking soles are suitable footwear. 

Please do not wear heeled shoes, Ugg style boots or sandals/flip flops. Long hair must be tied back.

If you are attending for the first time please wear black leggings/joggers, trainers and a black t shirt. 

We have a uniform for all syllabus dance classes which can be found on the uniform page.

Our Street classes have the same uniform as our Showshack Performing Arts Academy sessions.

Friends, parents or relatives are not permitted to view weekly classes unless there are special circumstances and prior arrangement is made with the Showshack office.

Parent Viewings of all group classes are held at the end of every term. 

At our Weekend Theatre School, children perform an end of term Showcase in the Medici Theatre at Weydon School. 

We also hold a dance competition once a year where trophies are awarded to the best dancer in three categories. We invite a professional dancer from outside Showshack to judge the competition.

There is a tuck shop at the Weekend Performing Arts Academy sessions where you can buy a drink and snack but please feel free to bring your own.

Please note we have children at Showshack that have nut allergies we ask for no nuts or sesame seeds. 

We do not have a tuck shop at Showshack Mini’s, we ask parents to pack a drink and snack for a short break – nut free please.

Yes, Showshack regularly run Easter & Summer Holiday workshops. Please look out for further details of forthcoming courses on the website under the Holiday Workshops page. You can also follow us on Facebook or Instagram for the latest news and updates.

Yes. Showshack has produced school shows in aid of Charity since 2002. The last full school production took place in November 2018 at the Aldridge Theatre, Frensham Heights. 

We have an Online Booking System for all of our classes and payment must be made before you attend a class.

Please ensure you bring your booking reference email to your first class as we are unable to teach any students without advance payment. For all Private Lessons in Acting, Singing & Dance, a payment link will be emailed to you.
